Colin Jaros
Founder & President
After working with local wedding band agencies in and around Boston as a drummer, Colin decided to found Groovin’ You Entertainment because he knew he and his team could do it better. He started one band from his dorm room during his freshman year at Berklee College of Music and has since built an award-winning company that has performed at thousands of weddings and events from coast to coast and has been featured in People, Brides, and more. He can’t survive an event without his headlamp (yes, seriously) and a giant coffee, preferably from Dunkin’.
Elise Prizzi
Manager, Client Relations
Elise brings a decade of experience as a logistics manager in the events industry to her role as our client relations manager, ensuring every detail of your event is meticulously coordinated and executed to perfection. She previously worked as a production manager for Très LA Catering and was with the company for all five years it was awarded best overall vendor and catering company in Los Angeles by California Wedding Day. Through her work there, she has produced events for powerhouse brands including Rolex, Hulu, Gucci, the LA Lakers, and more. She never shows up at an event without a portable phone charger.
Hunter LaMar
Manager, Artist Relations
Leading our rolodex of talented artists is Hunter, who has been working as a music director, producer, and performer for the last 8 years. He has composed songs for BET, worked as a session musician for Netflix and Saban Films, and acts as the music director for artists like Floyd Fuji and Lex Cole. Fun fact: he has performed on every continent besides Antarctica. “The Middle” by Zedd, Maren Morris, and Grey never fails to get him on the dance floor.
Tyler Knatz
Manager, Production
Tyler has been working as a studio and live sound engineer for the last 7 years and currently leads all production for GYE. In addition to being a proficient audio tech, he’s a multi-talented musician who has played festivals like Vans Warped Tour and SXSW and has opened for artists like The Story So Far, Mariana's Trench, Man Overboard, State Champs, and more. He will always get down to “Burnin’ Up” by the Jonas Brothers.
Kristin Corpuz
Manager, Marketing & Creative
With nearly a decade of experience in editorial, social, content, and marketing, Kristin leads all of our marketing and creative initiatives at GYE. She was previously a social media lead at brands and publications including Netflix, CNN, Allure Magazine, Amazon, and American Eagle, and has produced content for artists like Ariana Grande and Bad Bunny as well as companies like Skims, Neutrogena, Häagen-Dazs, and Mejuri. Strawberries and cream is her favorite flavor of wedding cake.
